Gates are closed at night from 10:00 PM until 6:00 AM. (times can vary by season) Gates are open at night if there is ice or snow. This prevents cars from hitting the gates.

Weather Info and Road Conditions
Sherwood Forest is a mountain community. 4-wheel drive, all-wheel drive, and/or tire chains are recommended in wintry weather. Guests should make preparations to enjoy cabin life indoors until traveling is safe.
In Sherwood Forest Resort the crew will treat the streets with salt or brine as soon as they can access the area. The POA DOES NOT PROVIDE towing and does not remove snow from cabin parking areas.
